Why did you join Homage?
“I was looking for a role in an industry where I could make a difference. Growing up with a parent who worked in the care industry, it really showed me how rewarding it can be.”
Storytime – Could you please tell me more about your background & past work experience?
Jeremy has worked in a variety of roles in the past, from bartender to roof plumber, but has always wanted to find a role in an office environment where he can utilise his skills better.

In the organisation (Homage)?
Jeremy says, “I love working with a great group of people who all support each other, whilst having the opportunity to improve the lives of others.”

In the industry (Healthcare)?
Jeremy mentions what he enjoys the most is getting “that feeling” at the end of the day – knowing you’ve made a difference in people’s lives, from our care professionals to our care recipients.

In your role (Supply Operation)?
Jeremy highlights, how he has the opportunities to get to speak to a variety of people in his day-to-day, and he enjoys deep diving into how things work and utilising data in efficient ways.

How do you find Homage’s work culture, people and D&I initiatives?
Jeremy says, “I think it’s a bit different being in one of our expansion cities away from Melbourne, but the support locally and nationally is terrific. I thoroughly enjoy working with our small team here in Adelaide.”
What does a day in the life as a Supply Operation Associate look like at Homage?
Jeremy says, “I spend a lot of my day reviewing files, answering phone calls and responding to emails. Some days are busier than others, but it’s a constant workflow, and it can be as exciting as you make it.”
What is the greatest achievement you’ve made since you joined Homage? (i.e. personal achievement, career achievement, etc…)
Jeremy highlights his biggest achievement so far is organising communication flow for the applicants who are willing to become Homage Care Professionals in Adelaide. He says, “I have created and implemented a more efficient and effective onboarding process for our care workers”.
