What drew you to Homage and when did you join? Please tell us a bit more about yourself.
I joined Homage in June 2022 and was attracted to the innovative approach of using tech to facilitate in-home care. I love that every day is different and that we are making a difference in the lives of so many people. My grandma has struggled in the past with finding the right regular carer for her, so it is very rewarding to be able to provide this relationship for others.
What does a typical day as a Live Operations Associate entail?
A typical day in our expansion cities is busy! We are a small team, so my role covers both Adelaide and Perth operations while driving efficiencies in operational processes. I typically schedule care visits with the most suitable care professional or consult with care professionals and clients about schedules, preferred carers, and the logistics of the support we provide. However, as one of Homage Adelaide’s first employees, I have covered almost every role, from discussing partnerships with other providers at the Adelaide Disability Expo to hosting learning sessions for our Support Workers and Nurses!
What drives you to be successful in your role?
My success at Homage is driven by my flexibility and adaptability to challenges. I am willing to take on any hurdle and direct the team to find the best solutions for our clients and Care Pros. Our tight-knit team creates such a great working environment to succeed, so it is definitely a team effort to grow our expansion cities at such a great rate!
