Advisory on COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

Dear All,
With reference to Victoria State Government’s latest announcement on the extension of lockdown till 70% vaccination rate with enhanced restrictions including a 9pm to 5am curfew every night, please note there will be no disruption to Homage services within or outside of the curfew given that care and caregiving are part of the exempted activities.
- Thorough screening of Care Professionals before visits
- All Care Professionals are required to have had their 1st COVID-19 vaccination dose or a valid medical exemption, in order to attend visits from the 15th of October 2021
- Mandatory Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) protocols and requirements during service delivery in accordance with the national guidelines
- Continuous monitoring and health declarations
If in the last 14 days you have been:
- Notified by the Victorian Health and Humans Services that you are deemed a close contact of COVID-19 cases and have been asked to go for a COVID-19 swab test
- Notified by the Victorian Health and Humans Services to isolate due to a positive COVID-19 test result
- Displaying symptoms like fever, sore throat, runny nose, coughing or breathlessness

Homage will continue to deliver care to our customers with health and safety as our top priority. This includes the following measures:
- Thorough screening of Care Professionals before visits
- Mandatory Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) protocols and requirements during service delivery in accordance with the national guidelines
- Continuous monitoring and health declarations
As part of tightened hygiene and safety protocols, we seek your cooperation to declare the following when booking in-person care visits from Homage.
If in the last 14 days you have been:
- Notified by the Victorian Government that you are deemed a close contact of COVID-19 cases and have been asked to go for a COVID-19 swab test
- Placed on Stay-Home-Notice (SHN), Quarantine Order (QO) or on medical leave (MC)
- Displaying symptoms like fever, sore throat, runny nose, coughing or breathlessness
